My work is inspired by Nature, Rituals and Material. In this body of work all come together. I gather and collect the natural environment I am in. Example snow, earth, grass. In each case, I literally scooped up the snow by hand and shape it into hundreds of little temporary mounts therein making a small indigenous landscape within the larger landscape.

The rhythm of collecting, gathering and forming is repetitive and meditative. This briefly connects me back to the actions of early human ancestors even though we are separated by time and space.

By taking this projects to different parts of the world like Snow(USA), Earth(India) Grass (France) I am trying to get an imprint of the world through my physical and sensory memory.
